I Walk Like A Woman when I have my two beautiful daughters by my side. I know of nothing more powerful than creating life out of love. Like most women, I wear many hats professionally: community leader, board member, advocate, policy champion, but none of those roles gives me a more complete sense of accomplishment than being a mother. I have always been passionate about women’s rights, and after having my daughters I decided it would be my life’s work. I have a 3 year old and a 9 month old depending on me to make the world a better place for them. We women are dynamic, strong, compassionate, caring, and so many things in between; we are a phenomenon. I owe it to my daughters and future generations to Walk Like A Woman, and make this world a more equal, progressive place for all.
